On
January 3, a group from Converse College, South Carolina,
U.S.A., arrived to Mexico City. After a stay of two days
in the city, and visits to Teotihuacan and the Museum
of Anthropology they continued their trip to Morelia
where they will study Spanish. At the end of their course
they will come back to visit Historical Downtown and
Coyoacan. We hope they enjoy their stay in Mexico! |

On December
10th, PEI organized a mass to commemorate the first anniversary
of the death of Barbara Gomez. Old and good friends of
Barbara attended the occasion and had time to share precious
memories of their friendship. The Board of PEI thanks
to all who sent messages and cards. |

Last December 4th, 2006, Carlos Morales
Mejía, PEI’s first AuPair, traveled to New York
where he joined other international AuPairs in the training
session organized by Interexchange, our partner in the U.S.A.
Now he is living with his host family in Massachusetts taking
care of two kids. We wish him the best! And we congratulate
Carmen Salmoran for this wonderful start of the AuPair program! |
